AUGHHHH I went over my calories again....although I made careful choices through out the day. Only exceed them by 200 ...I guess its baby steps...Hanging in there......going to take a tour of a gym tomorrow really thinking a gym is the answer.

How did the gym tour go MAF? I 'did' the gym in my late 30s when I was on a diet and was successful at dropping about 30 lbs between July/Nov (hubby was working PMs then, so he didn't complain I wasn't home).

Have you heard of baby steps. Back away from the calorie limit you seemed to set for yourself. I would suggest that you change one thing that is high in calories for a lower calorie equivalent. The first thing that I did before I even found FS was cutting our mayo in favor of mustard or honey mustard (low cal honey mustard 1 tsp = 10 cal). Then as you go on just make more changes and learn what your body likes and dislikes. My calorie goal is actually a range that I want to be in. 1200-1500 per day never to exceed 2000. That feels right for me. It is not right for everyone and I do have a ton of weight to loose but it works for me. The trick is to find what works for you. Maybe instead of eating a McChicken try a snack wrap or a grilled chicken sandwich and remove half the bun. Make it fun! But don't get so frustrated that you went over your limit (quota, etc). There are plenty of times that I hit 1800 cal in a day. Don't fret. Eat when you are hunger and don't when your not. Learn to listen to your body and your body will be great to you. Hang in there.
