Ugh! I sure hope this is a fluke that it went up. How discouraging.

So this morning I tried one of the Medifast recipes I found online to alter my oatmeal. Today I tried the peach oatmeal to make oatmeal cookies. Basically you take the oatmeal, add some 0 calorie sweetener, a tiny bit of baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and water and drop of a cookie sheet and bake (8 min for chewy and 10 for crunchy). I opted for chewy. It ended up like a very dense pancake. The flavor was OK and it made 4 avg size cookies. I'm so super stuffed! I find that it takes a long time for me to eat some of the Medifast meals. I don't know if its the extra protein or if I just really don't like something about the flavor but it took a long time to eat my 4 cookies. I'm not exactly looking forward to my next 3.5 weeks on Medifast. If I don't start losing more/faster I'm just going to go back to doing my own thing which was working much better. I hope this month of Medifast doesn't set me back! Ugh. I guess I had a couple of slightly up days when I did my own thing, but I thought this super low carb deal would really work better faster. I guess I'm just a little over eager as today is only day 4. Oh well. Maybe I just really need to measure my lean & green portions more. I just figured that the lean was the part that was really adding the calories, so I wasn't worried too much about having a little extra green.
