Time to take a different approach. This is it - No more after dinner snacking!
The different approach is that I am going to make this a promise - No more after dinner snacking! First, I've promised myself. Now, I'm making the promise to all my FS Buddies. Next I'll move on to promise DH, my Sister, and basically anyone who will listen.
Now, let me repeat, lest I forget - No more after dinner snacking!

Good luck with that, Buffster. I have a problem with that too. I just have to eat less during the day cause I know I am going to do it. I learned this with WW's. Counting points is HARD! LOL! I have been going up and down with weight, but getting a handle on it again. LOW CARB is a definite way of eating, even on WW's. I can have my indulgences but when I do, I have to hit the elliptical machine with a vengeance. So if you DO snack... get on that elliptical machine and go girl! HUGS!

Go for consistancy! Snacking can make you or break you. I have light yogurt in the fridge, so if I have a snach, that is the only snace I am allowed. It hits the spot, and is only 80 calories which I always allow for in the day. Hang in there, you will fall into the groove soon! I wish we all lived near eachother, then we could all go on fs power walks! Be good. You can do it.

I've got to get my RDI down too. I had added a 2nd egg to my morning so I think that is going to go so that I can keep my choc at night because I think once I have a taste of sweet I can stop the snack monster.

Gosh Buffy, Bren, are we all married to the same guy? Wait, I'm not even married. Same guy though, to be sure. Buffy dear, I feel your pain. Go to sleep early, I say. Let them snack on their own. Wake up early, when they're sleeping. I find that the snacking urge only comes at the end of the day. I'm with Lizzy. A FS power walk is in order. And talk to Sharon, she has simply THE best resistance to temptations I've ever seen. I honestly don't know how she does it. Good luck, buddy.

Good for you, my friend... On the beautiful valentines gifts, obviously wonderful husband & new resolution to stop snacking after dinner. That time has not been a big problem for me (but I certainly have mine at other times!). After dinner is finished & cleaned up, I brush my teeth, settle into my chair with my book (usually accompanied by my dog & cat) & chew sugarless gum if feeling tempted or restless. Know it will go well for you as you start officially closing your kitchen after dinner! Xoxox
