trying this again... its been awhile since I've tried, last time i failed miserably and only stuck with the diet for 2 days, this time i am hoping to stick with it for a minimum of 2 weeks, i go on vacation Aug 13 and i know i will cheat that weekend since i will be drinking with all my friends but plan on going right back to south beach when i return home... my goal is to do stage 1 south beach and also work out 5 days a week at home, right now i am using the Jillian Michael's 30 day shred DVD, yesterday was my first day, i definitely sweated my butt of and my back and arm muscles feel tight today... definitely a good work out for the 20 minutes or so it takes, i just need to stick with it. I have to remind myself i don't want to be the "fat friend" in 2 weeks when i go away with 7 other girls to a beach resort!!! I know I wont become a skinny minnie in 2 weeks but if I can just drop a few pounds and feel less bloated and poofy I know it will make a difference in how I feel about myself. I don't want to end up depressed because I tried to have a fun weekend away. And by being the shortest and heaviest out of all my friends the probability of that happening is pretty high :( Time for a change!
