Remember how I mentioned I was retaining water weight? Yeah, it's all in my bra. It's funny, I was thinking the other day that "Wow, my boobs are looking great, I must've built up some muscle that supports them but nah, swollen like mad." Which is why no matter what the scale says, my pants fit beautifully. My bra... well, that's another story. Btw, no, I am not nor can possibly be pregnant before anyone suggests that.

It's funny how a year of stress and screwed up periods has completely made me forget the signs of ovulation. Oh well...

Didn't make it to the gym, I really really need to rest today. Got home from work, ate dinner and pretty much laid around. I know it sounds lazy but I've done nothing but go go go for the last two days and it's started to make me really grumpy. I need to get back to my mellow groove.

On the upside, I choose fruit over the cake at the baby shower at work today so go me! I also went over 1200 calories without shoving a brownie into me out of desperation at 10 pm. Gotta get used to this new schedule since come September it's going to be busier.

I think I actually might go to bed soon. Yes, I'm THAT tired. A friend of mine (who's in good shape btw) told me that it took him TWO MONTHS to adjust energy wise to working full-time again after being unemployed for a year. I am going to try to get back to five workouts a week but it might take a few weeks for my body to be able to DO that.

Don't feel guilty about making choices. Sometimes the best choice for your health & well-being is to REST! It will take some time to settle into a groove that will accomodate the exercise but if anything is important, your livelihood is! Allow yourself the time to adjust...do your thang!

I know this may sound silly, but sometimes it takes more discipline to REST when you need it. You know - I've gotta work out or I'll never lose this weight - when your body is telling you "Hey, I need a little break". My husband (who is in excellent condition) reminds me to listen to my body - otherwise I'll get sick or injure myself. So cut yourself a little slack (that's also a note to myself) and have an awesome day! :)
