What a fun couple of weeks. NOT! So I go to the Doctor on Sunday after my ex picks up the kids. I'm about 90% certain I have strep throat. Swab the throat, twice, and stick one up my nose for good measure. All negative no strep, no mono, no flu. Ask the ever so wise doctor what I should do and he shrugs. with a doubtful tone he offer some in his words potentially useless antibiotics. Nope not popping pills if he doesn't think it's strep. We trust doctors right? Sick as hell for two weeks before I stick a mag light in my mouth. If that's not strep my tonsils are suffering severe acne. back to Doctor. Oh look she asks questions how nice. It's strep I'm on the right medicines and hey all that pain helped me lose a pound! Then again my favorite crazy lady was spending her evenings chasing me for a couple miles 4 nights a week for two weeks. Right until I tested positive for strep anyway. So nice to be vindicated.
