last night I was all set to eat 3 Sea Pak jumbo fan tail shrimp. When I entered them into my food diary I saw they had 17 carbs. I went to the Fat Secret recipes and looked for chicken broccoli and it turned up a good one. I had left over broccoli and 2 frozen boneless, skinless chicken thighs. The recipe was delicious and more filling than 3 shrimp! Also the carb count was less than half. I will try this recipe again. I am doing very well with the low carb routine. I have always found it to be satisfying. It feels good to be in control.

Shrimp seems to be getting a bad carb rap around here lately. Is that a breaded shrimp? That's where the carbs would be - in the breading.

Yes, it was breaded fantail shrimp. when I first decided to have some I didn't think the breading would make that much difference. I was only going to eat 3, after all when you go out and have them they usually bring you 6 or 7.

That explains it - the flour / cornmeal.
