It is Day 4 and I've gotten a TINY case of the Atkin's flue.

I felt sort of horrible today. Probably a bit overdramatic, but I didn't want to get out of bed this morning (hit snooze twice) and I dragged all the way to work. Very small headache at one point. I ended up feeling almost normal as the day wore on. It didn't help that it was an especially long day at work.

I know about the salt thing. I've been using more than normal on my food the last few days. That is probably why I didn't get hit too hard by the headache.

I am having problems with bowel movements. With as much spinach and broccoli as I've been eating, I can't see how I could have a fiber shortage. Maybe when I go shopping this weekend, I'll see about getting some fiber tablets or something. I've only had 3 bowel movements since I started this thing 4 days ago. Only one was a major movement.

As far as weight goes, I didn't lose as much today as I did yesterday. That is probably due to the Atkins products I've been eating. Had a bar AND a shake today. And a bar yesterday. But I've been getting major cravings and the chocolate-y taste of the shakes helps quell them. They are also very filling.

So, I'm under 280! 5 lbs down in 4 days! I like that! We'll see if it stays that low over the next 3 days until the weekly check-in when I average the daily weigh-ins. So far, it's all down. :)

congrats on that loss....I dont use any atkins products, at least not yet but I have discovered if I put a bit of heavy cream in some diet chocolate fudge soda its heavenly! Had that as a treat last night! i think as the days go on you'll feel better and better. As for the constipation I had it a bit the first week myself, but now I seem to be fine--I do have sugarfree benefiber stuff to mix into water if I need it!
