Yesterday was my son's birthday, he turned 9 yrs old. His party turned out nice. My mom made him a birthday cake, I stayed away from it, but it sure smelled and looked good. Now the left over of the cake is in the fridge grr, everytime i open the door, it just says hey look at me lol. But i am gonna stay strong not touching it, even though it seems to be calling me lol, and my son asking every hour can i have some more of that cake. I think i am gonna go make me some cream cheese pancakes, maybe it will get it off my mind.

Happy Birthday to your son! And gratz on being strong in the face of temptation. :-) Tell me more of these cream cheese pancakes! I made protein powder pancakes these past two mornings and put cream cheese on them but variations are good.

Thank you Rowan, i actually found these about a week ago, it does satisfy my sweet tooth, and this recipe is for 1 serving but i make thin medium pancakes and it feeds me , my son with left over, i also use hungry jack sugar free syrup with splenda, just about 1 tsp. i have never tried the protien ones, i have tried the pork rinds and i didnt like them, i like the cream cheese better, they are not phenominal but they are ok, it satisfies my taste for pancakes. here is the recipe if u want to try them.
1 tbsp of butter, 1 tsp of ground cinnamon, 3 oz of cream cheese softened, 2 eggs, 1 packet of splenda
Beat together, no lumps allowed. pour in pam sprayed pan, on low med heat for 4 mins. flip and fry for 2 min
