Just got back from a good, but very tiring day. Went tubing which is actually a bit of work out since there's some paddling involved. The place I went to includes a BBQ lunch and I'm kinda proud of myself for picking the grilled chicken sandwich over the standard 2 hot dogs or a hamburger choices. I also picked pretzels over chips or a frozen candy bar. Spent about 3 hours on the river then went outlet shopping nearby. Ended up at a Mexican place for dinner where I actually ended up having this really good garlic chicken with rice, beans and a salad. I did indulge a little with a regular ice at Rita's since it's hot but I think the rest of the day makes up for it.

I also did a ridiculous amount of driving, about an hour each way to meet the friend I went with and then about another hour each way to get to the tubing place. I'm basically exhausted at the moment. I was thinking I'd be able to do some light exercise when I get home tonight (some yoga or something) to make up for the tubing (since I have no idea if that's even decent exercise) but I'm completely wiped.

I honestly love that wiped feeling that says "I've done everything I could do today." And, then I can just go to sleep. Sounds like you had a great day.
