I can't believe I'm seeing changes in my body already! Since I've been doing the bike at the gym all week, I've really noticed a lot more definition in my legs. That seems to translate over when I do yoga and other stuff on the wii fit because my balance has improved dramatically. I can feel the muscle under the fat and it's awesome! One morning in the not too distant future, I'm going to wake up with majorly awesome shapely legs.
I want to get to the point where I can dance again. No, not like semi-professionally or whatever, just to the point where I could whip out my toe shoes and spin and jump and feel like I'm flying, not like I'm going to pass out. I want to be able to take my bike out and explore the trails around here. So many of those things I haven't really done since my teen years and I miss them.
Somehow I've been doing about an hour of exercise a day - the 30 minutes of intense cycling at the gym (cardio way where I get my heart rate up to 152+) and then another half hour most days of various wii stuff, mostly the strength and yoga stuff. Oh, I definitely want to do be able to do yoga class again TOO but I want to make sure I can make it through a class before I even try it.
Going tubing tomorrow and I am so excited for that. I'm kind of wondering how many calories that burns since you have to sit up, paddle (and paddle a lot depending on the current) and all that. It can't be as much as rafting but I've come back from it in the past with some very sore arms. :)
