Nervous to see if I lose much this week. At the rate of 2 lbs a week it will be a slow process. I am ok with that but I was hoping to reach my goal by the end of summer. I know I shouldnt weigh every day but it makes every morning seem like Christmas! I was putting velveta cheese in my broccoli but I have learned that it tastes just as good, maybe even better with a little butter and salt. I bought a new package of ketone strip and my color is going nearly to the max on purple. My ketone strips from before were opened a year ago so I think they werent working right. I can't believe I have made it 3 weeks. If I can do 3 weeks then I can do 3 months!

I find weighing myself daily helps keep me on track. Don't feel bad about it, use it as a tool. Good Luck.

Wow. Keep up the great work! 2 pounds a week is awesome and very good for you. When I lost the first go around on Atkins, I lost about a pound and a half every week. It came off slow but I maintained for a very long time. Don't give up. It's a great feeling when you see later just how much you have lost. think of it this way... it's almost a half a bag (5lb)of sugar your loosing per week! That's a lot when you think about it!

You are doing great! 2lb a week is what i am hoping to lose. I knew it would come of quickly in the first week. Now i'm happy if i get to lose anything! You're right, if you can do 3 weeks you can do anything. The fact that you we can all stick to our diets proves how amazing we all are. And you are losing weight. FANTASTIC!
