Talk about sloooooow, but sure. Of course, the holidays(or should they be called "binging on sugar" days?)seriously derailed my efforts, and in fact sent the needle about 5 lbs upward. But, I've detoxed from the processed sugar train, and I'm eating more whole foods again, especially "non-starchy" veggies, per Jonathan Bailor, author of The Smarter Science of Slim. I'm also doing his prescribed intense, deep tissue, short duration workout (just 4 moves, but they're killer), and it's finally starting to help. The idea behind it is to "unclog" metabolic blockages that keep you in fat storage mode. Check out his book on Amazon; endorsed by major medical institutions including the Mayo Clinic & Harvard Med!Those moves coupled with some intense indoor cardio and some Krav Maga (Israeli military-style self defense classes)are all helping me shed stubborn fat all over, gain muscle definition and actually define something like a waistline.
