Okay so today I learned the easiest way to figure the Atkins diet. Meat and veggies! That is simple. Now if I can reduce the amount of cheese and ranch dressing......I will be in great shape!

I worked today as I do every day, and the guy I take care of is a sweets fanatic! It is a challenge every day not to help myself the the snacks and cookies, pie and ice cream. I can't have it now where before I just helped myself. As a binge eater, once I saw it, that's all I wanted and I ate until I quit. We go to restaurants to have lunch and dinner and we always got a glass of wine and dessert. Any time you go out to dinner the portions are sometimes 4 times the regular portion size. Imagine how much food I actually put away over the course of a weekend! Now I eat my salad and my eggs and move on. Today was very hard but it was doable and I am proud I didn't eat things I should not!

Weigh in is tomorrow. Kinda nervous~

I know what you mean about the cheese and ranch dressing . I really enjoy eating them too.

Hello Tina, Atkins is a little more than just veggies and meat. If you want to learn about it go to Atkins.com* site. They give a lot of information about the different stages but do not go for all the prepare stuff they offer. /// I looked over your food journal for today and it actually does not look too bad. You need to incorporate more veggies, about 10- 12 net carbs should be form veggies. Maybe you can reduce the dressing to just one serving, saves you some net carbs. Also, if you need to snack on pudding, use jell-o sugar free. and no peanuts. If oyu go n to OWL you may have some almonds. But as I said, if you want to know more, got to the Atkins site. Besides that, a lot of people here a willing to help and answer questions. But I think you experienced that already ;-)
