Another scorcher today. According to the Weather Channel, it might start thunderstorming on Thursday or Friday, which may or may not break up all this humidity. And I think that might be lovely, but it might mean no bike riding...
Yesterday, we went swimming in our building's outdoor pool. I swear, you get a cooling effect that lasts for about an hour or so after!
I also think I drank somewhere in the neighbourhood of four or more litres of water...I was so hot and dry and thirsty!
Working out in this kind of weather doesn't bother me...the only thing is, I can never fully decide if I'm a sweaty mess because the day's workout was challenging or because I'm melting due to environmental heat and humidity.
I'm going to miss swimming for the rest of the week - I'm back to work for a five week stint - and this week I'm working quite a few twelve hour shifts. Yeah for overtime, boo for having to be inside. Let's hope the air conditioning is working because my work uniform is long pants, long sleeve shirt and a vest. *ugh*
