kmartdollie's Journal, 28 December 2012

I went to the doctor and I have gained an additional 2 pounds this month. I have no one to blame but myself. In the last month I could not string together an entire week without blowing it. I have got no excuses. This is all due to overeating and not sticking to an RDI that is low enough. I intend to keep at a lower RDI of 1200 calories, and continue to kill it in the gym. If I could just lose 1 pound a week, that would be tremendous. My doctor also recommends that I stop eating 3 times a day and eat like 5 times a day - spread everything out. I am gonna try. Obviously doing it my way has not been working too well. I am accountable and I am honest.

I took a look at your diet calendar and honestly, I can't see a whole lot you might be doing wrong. You eat fruits and veggies, plenty of fiber, beans, a lot of good stuff. Some days your sodium is a little high which might make you hold water. I have no idea if sugar free candy has any effect on metabolism, I hope not! Perhaps you are over training. I have heard that moderate exercise is more effective in burning fat. You go at it pretty hard, which is very admirable. I don't know. I've been losing and gaining the same four pounds since June so I am not the one to help you, but I will be here to support you good and bad. I really hope that a new year will give us both new better numbers. :)
