Always Growing and Learning's Journal, 01 May 2008

Really wanting to eat VOLUME today. I decided to have a substantial snack of of 2 cups warm mushroom and tomato with a few beans (for one point). Hope that does the trick. I am SO craving sweets today, but feel that having something like a chocolate at this point will cause a cascade of eating. I'm having a slightly sweet flavoured tea right now and hope that filling up will satisfy me.

I suspect this is all just about procastination eating as I have a task to do that I have avoided for 5 years ( re-cover a sofa cushion. And today is the day I am determined to do it so it is out of my life forever. It is only going to take 2-3 hours and yet it has pulled me down for so long.

If you're craving chocolate...I know one of the things that seems to have helped me, is eating a Fiber One Oats & Chocolate Chewy Bar. It's 2 points, and seems to do the trick (at least for me)...and definitely beats having the snack machine candy bar for 7 points! Three Musketeers are also a lower point candy bar, if you like those :)

I always keep curves chocolate peanut bars on hand. They are 1 point and they are where you would find the granola bars and breakfast bars.
