I hate plain water and I have also removed sodas from my diet so a little trick to making water taste better is to find sugar free flavorings like Crystal Lite or Kool Aid (I am not sure if they do sugar free though!). And as flavored water is expensive to purchase regularly, what I do is mix about a tablespoon or so of flavored water with plain water. Just put in enough to change the flavor of water to a little more pleasant taste. I normally use this mixed water during my exercise and it helps when the water doesnt taste so ...well so tasteless!! Well done on avoiding the sodas...they really arent worth it in the end, your gorgeous son is worth so much more. Just remind yourself..do you want coke more..or do you want Mummy to be around for her adorable son more?

That's a great tip. I use the crystal lite sometimes, but I try not to overdo it because I can be sensitve to the artifical sweetners, too. Frustrating - try to give up sugar and still can't use the substitutes!!! Good luck - by day three you won't be missing it anymore, I bet!
