Wild, wacky day full of setting up weddings, parties and then off to celebrate middle son's 20th tomorrow. He has requested Indian food. We will be going to a buffet.. any suggestions on what to eat...and what to avoid? I plan on going off program...because he would feel bad if I went and didn't eat. Suggestions? .... Anyone? ...Bueller?

Look for the main dishes that have a cream/almond sauce...or the tandoori chicken (it's barbequed and dry) Don't eat the bread products, naan, paratha, rice, any of the biriani dishes...they are so good, I love Indian food, but stick with the first two I mentioned. Also, ASK what they put in their sauces...tell them you can't eat sugar, cornstarch or flour! Enjoy!

See, I thought that your middle child was a female, so change those BD wishes to wishing your son a Happy Birthday!! And have a great time! I would bet that there will be some great low carb foods available. Just ask them and I'll bet they will oblige yor special dietary needs! As Kyle said, ENJOY!!!!
