seaside16's Journal, 03 December 2012

These cravings can drive a person crazy I swear!..... Or at least me. Yesterday I went way over my calories. I had just over 2000 :/ but the last time I ate was about 5pm.....by 8 pm I was craving chili dogs and pizza-had the stuff for it all too. I went for an hour walk instead. So far today the cravings haven't been bad, even went to subway and just had a salad. I keep thinking about what my buddy kmartdollie said in her journal.....how enough small days strung together will add up in the end. That kind of thinking gets me through the day.

Don't kick yourself too hard. One bad day doesn't make a failure. Some people need to have a cheat day every now and then and some even plan them. Depends on if this will work for you. Whatever plan you choose, keep up the good work!

One bad day is okay, especially if you make more of the others good days. At least you went for a walk instead of giving in to all of the cravings. I've actually not felt well, probably because of all of the junk, but I still eat bad food anyway, so I need to do what you did and take a walk instead. :)

Sea, you are doing great. I personally have had a problem with bingeing the last 3 weeks. Not every day, but having a crap day followed by a good day followed by a crap day. The exercising has really helped me by enabling me to maintain my weight in the midst of all of this. I am trying to string some good days together now, too. Thank you for posting on so many of my journals, and I am very glad to call you my buddy!

YUP - string a few days together, one meal at a time. You can do this - it is actually rather simple when you change your mind set about eating.
