I know I haven't lost a whole lot of weight yet, but being in control of my eating in itself is pretty rewarding. I love cooking, and I would always fill up on so much junk before dinner that I couldn't even enjoy it. I'd eat it just to eat and get even more stuffed and feel awful the rest of the night. I feel hungry now, but I'm not going to snack. And it just feels really nice to sit down and enjoy dinner.

Good for you, Sea! I know since I've been dieting, I am actually utilizing my dining room table more. I am sitting down to eat formally. Somehow the calories don't seem to count as much if you are standing up when you are eating them. I need your resolve not to snack!

Good for you! You'll definitely be successful! Yes - we are definitely more mindful of our meals when we make a production of them. If I'd remembered that last night I'd likely not have lost control of my craving and binged!
