Well it's Sunday night.
Weekends are bad news. Even though right now I'm unemployed (I came out of work a couple of weeks ago and start a new job on the 26th), I still kinda have a sense of entitlement about the weekend. After four or five good days, you're entitled to one or two bad days. So yeah, I've eaten crap but fairly small quantities of crap so that's ok.
I was in two minds about putting in my food entries for today cos I'm kinda embarrassed about it. To hell with it though, what's the point of not putting it in properly? Doesn't change what I've done. I kinda want to avoid getting weighed over the weekends. I'll get weighed tomorrow, I shouldn't have gained weight, not really.
I hate winter. I've done a lot of walking this week but it's been quite warm round here up until today really. Colder it gets, the less tempting it is to even go outside never mind walk any decent distance or do any jogging at all. Colder it gets, the higher the temptation to fill up and warm up. I'm trying to be realistic here, I do beat myself up too easily sometimes but so what, if I have two bad days and five good days that's still three good days. If I lose 20lb and gain 5lb, I've still lost 15lb. I just need to accept that there are gonna be ups and downs and overall the down is pretty overwhelming. It's a difficult season to keep your weight under control, I'm just grateful not to have Thanksgiving to fight with.

I totally sympathise with you. This has been a problem for me for so long. In the past, everytime i had a slip, I ended the diet. It was an all or nothing situation. I am very impatient as a person so if my weight loss was not fast enough, I gave up. But this time I have accepted than being even slightly lighter is better than not at all so yes. keep up the good work despite those bad days. And if you want to exercisemore, why not dance to your favourite song? i know it's not much but if you do it everyday it adds up!

It's so hard when you don't have the right mindset, the smallest setback can feel like a hammerblow. I dunno, I find it easier to encourage other people than myself. Just need to accept that any progress is better than none. Winter, I'm fine with damage limitation!

Be your own best friend and encourage yourself :) And yes, my Thanksgiving was disastrous in terms of my eating. Be glad you don't have that.
