Jogged/walked the 5-mile loop this morning; 720 calories in 1 hour 8 minutes, which is really incredibly slow but hey - for me it's good. :)

DH told me yesterday that I'm looking smaller, which is encouraging because the scale isn't moving much at all.

Need to stay focused this weekend & stick to my eating plan. The last few weekends have been busy and haven't gone that well. I'd really like to see a number on the scale that begins with a 1 in the next week or so.

Holy Cow! And I am still trying to push my 1/2 hour walks. 5 miles! 1 hour 8 minutes! You are doing so well my friend. Have you taken measurements? I am sure you are losing inches. Be patient, the weight will fall.

I took measurements maybe a month ago, when round 1 of boot camp ended and round 2 began. I don't remember what they were exactly now but I had lost around 4 inches overall in 6 weeks, and that was pretty much just through exercise - it was just a week or so after I got really serious about changing my eating habits. I can tell from my clothes that my body shape is changing because I have a little more room to move around in them. I figure the scale has to catch up eventually right...

And the more you are working out, the more muscle you are gaining which could be the difference in your weigh ins. Yes, it will catch up.

Desi, I only lost 1/2 pound last week, but I upped my exercise to about 2 miles, and added the swimming, so I suspect that is the difference. Good work with the 5 mile jog. I don't run anymore, as the last time I attempted that I fell and broke my shoulder. So it's power walking for me. lol

Hey Desi.. Just popping in to say hi to all my buddies today. Steady goes it. Plan and keep Atkin friendly foods around and available so the rest doesn't look good. I can walk by an open bag of chips without a second glance now. Love this WOE. Anyway, hope you see the next weigh in down in the 100's. Good for you on your exercise. That is one thing that I need to get focused and determined on now. I have been busy trying to get my food routine and shopping list down pat I haven't worried about exercise. So now, it is time to add that componet to my life. Hope you have a great day and congrats on getting that scale moving down. Neesar :)
