ugh....didn't do a workout today at all. Such a great workout yesterday, though, and today...Well. Makes me wonder if I'm sabotaging myself for whatever reason. I know it's okay to take days off, but this was unplanned and I'm on a deadline. And going to CA on Monday, and hopefully will workout at least some of that time. Lucky if I have a 600-700 calorie deficit today. Hopefully the days balance out. Really want to drop ten pounds in the next 4 1/2 weeks. Not gonna happen at this rate. Wish it wasn't so hot or I'd take a walk tonight. nah....probably wouldn't. Maybe just get a good night's sleep and be energized for the day in the morning. I hate it when I lose steam.

Hang in there: I always heard that it's best to exercise every other day to let your muscles relax and recover. Back when I used to cycle to / from work, when I upped it to every day, it took a while for my legs to get used to the new regime, and I am not sure it did me any good... as I recall, I injured myself. Popped a knee muscle powering around that last uphill corner and I'm only lucky the Teenager - then a youngster - had an asthma attack (not so good for him though!). I was off work for a couple of days and when it didn't improve, I was able to get to the physio. ____________________________ Hope today's work outs are going well (I see you're blogging between dvd's).

Hi Ruby. You make some good points, but it might apply more to stuff like weight lifting and maybe cycling and/or swimming, too, since you use basically the same muscles over and over. But...you never know....I think I just feel I "have" to work out since I don't burn many calories when I don't. And I like to eat! :D ________________________________How's it going with no wine? I should go check your journal now...._____________________________________Really sucks about your knee. Do you still have problems with it?
