Why do I weigh more after hiking? I mean the next day and often times, for another day or two after that? I will assume I hold on to more water or something. I know I eat more on those days, but my calorie deficit was still about 1,000 calories. I guess I expected it, but it still pisses me off to see not only my weight go UP, but to show it back in the 150's. I'm not recording it, though...so maybe it doesn't count : ). Okay, need to eat something, work out, go shopping. I need some fresh veggies here - ran out of salad stuff two days ago and am missing it! Oh! I also had a Subway Sat. night (thinking of all the veggies I piled on it)! I'd forgotten all the sodium in that sucker... I love the club on whole wheat. Okay, that sandwich has 2300 mg. in the footlong (ate about 3/4 of it, being the second thing I'd had that day to eat). So maybe that added to it. We'll see. I know I shouldn't let it bug me. Guess because I have a couple of deadlines in mind for things and I know I'll be falling off the exercise thing for several days next week. I'll do what I can beforehand. I'm thinking if I see that scale move significantly over the next week, like 2 lbs for this week and dropping the 1.6 lbs it shows higher today, then I'll be likely to stay within my eating plan and do what I can to exercise. I think my sister has an eliptical machine...I'm gonna text her...

That is weird (that you weigh more after hiking)... gotta be water retention? Don't beat yourself up over the Subway: it wasn't a cheese burger and chips ;-) I love the Seafood sub' and ignore all the dressing. It isn't like we have them every day! _____________ Sent you an invitation to the "No alcohol for 30 days" challenge, but forgot you're out of town, visiting the family, when you'll need the odd glass (or two)!
