I will not cheat, I will not cheat, I will not cheat...........I am making this my mantra for the weekend!! Stubborn fat go away is the other one. I will keep repeating these until they become self fulfilling prophecies!!! lol

It is suposed to be in the 80's here this weekend. I am hoping to spend most of the weekend outside-away from the fridge and pantry :)

Idle time is the devil. Sometimes it is a blessing that I am in school right now because there is always homework to do. I got my first case study back last night and I got an A+. I was so excited. So, on the weekends, if I find myself lured to the fridge, I usually grab some celery and a huge glass of water and get to typing or writing something.

Not worried about cheating at all. I know I can pass on the no-no foods. The thing that I fear is that when I get busy I will forget to eat and get enough water, like always. It's like a broken record over here just repeating itself no matter how awful the sound. But I will do my best to keep to a schedule this weekend - that's all I can do - my best. Lenny, it's all a learning experience for us. We will get there. We will find what works and make it through a successful weekend.

Trepetski, just curious what classes you are taking

Right now I am in a 6 week summer session for a Senior Seminar in Business Policy. It's writing intensive and kicking my butt. Right after this I have another 6 week Seminar in Accounting, also writing intensive. Then I have two semesters left of four classes each semester and I will graduate with my Bachelor's in Accounting. I see that you are also in school. What classes are you taking?

I pack a small cooler with some cheese and some bef snack sticks, lunch meat, carb friendly stuff, and a canteen of water that I take with me when I go outside to work, or anywhere that I know I may get busy and forget to eat and drink! Last weekend when we did the garden work, my sis was laughing at me because I had breadless sandwiches in my cooler and stopped frequently for a snack! But it worked and I got all my water in also, by making sure to keep my stainless steel water bottle with me all the time. My hubby laughs at me, because there are 2 things I never leave home without anymore....my water bottle and my pedometer. Last night when we went out, I had taken the ped off to shower and then couldn't find it, and we were in a hurry. Felt bare without it, and worried all the way to the restaurant (40 miles away) and then decided to just quit worrying and enjoy. While waiting for the table, hubby says to me "are you missing something???" And with a laugh pulls my ped out of his pocket!!! lol I gave him a big ol' smooch and promptly put it on. lol He knows me soooo well!!

Good for you. That's wonderful. It's hard going to school full time while working full time but it will be so worth it in the end.

Well I am really getting burnt out. Finally got my AA last May but don't want to take forever with this one. I know if I don't hurry this up and get it done now I probably never will. So it's full throttle ahead, full load of classes and it'll be over before I know it. Plus, who needs sleep, relaxation or a life, right?

Amen Sister - this weekend won't leave me sad and mad!! Stick with that school Keli, if you need a break just take Summer II off. You can do it!

We don't have a Summer II schedule here. The Summer sessions are short and I think I will get a few weeks off before the Fall session. It's good. Being busy can be a good thing.

I hear you. I know I am burnt out. Been on this schedule for two years already but taking more time off isn't worth it. I want to sit for the CPA before the test changes on 1/1/2012 so I have to get through school. I agree that busy is a good thing but so is some down time. I am looking forward to graduation. My graduation present to myself will be a trip to Australia. I have always wanted to go.

That is a wonderful present! Good for you. I actually set out for my accounting degree. All I wanted to do was become a forensic accountant and audit the IRS or some major corporation and take em all down. Well I'd still love to do it but the classes just stressed me too much. The numbers gave me nightmares. The thought of the board exam frightened me. And I have a stable job that I can promote with now that I changed it.
