I disagree, Pippy..you CAN eat too much protein. Excess protein will be converted to glcose, and stored. Ttothe, distilled alcohol doesn't contain carbs, but it does get burnt as energy before fat. So it depends on what kind of drinks you're having, and how many. 50 g net carbs is actually pretty high. You might try intermittent fasting, limiting your eating window to 6 hours a day.
