Anjoleena and Gale have recently started a program called Ideal Protein. It is a dietary supplement that you take along with a diet in 4 stages; stage one being very restrictive, stage four putting you into the lifestyle you will maintain. Anjoleena lost 9 pounds in the first week and is terribly excited. You can see that she wants me to join on the bandwagon, but I just won't do it. Restrictive diets don't work for me.I fall off them too fast. Hell, I have a hard enough time just keeping under RDI (see last week's count)! That said I cannot begrudge her the happiness she has found. Just hope she can keep it off. (She told me she had gained back 22 lbs from her prior low in the last year. She has yet to meet her ultimate goal.)

As for me, as long as I keep heading in the right direction, I will not be taking any drastic steps. If it ain't broke.....
162.5 lb Lost so far: 37.5 lb.    Still to go: 27.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

1381 kcal Fat: 45.39g | Prot: 64.95g | Carb: 182.97g.   Breakfast: Thick Cut Bacon, Borgata Turkey Sausage, Banana, Tap Water, Oatmeal with Fruit. Lunch: Chicken or Turkey Salad with Egg, sauteed veggies, Cooked Broccoli (Fat Added in Cooking), Diet Coke, Chicken noodle Soup. Dinner: Tap Water, Baked Potato, Dannon Strawberry Banana Yogurt. Snacks/Other: Organic Chai, Organic Fat Free Milk. more...
