Well, I've exercised about as much as I can today (give or take walking the dog) and I've been good the last few days and today - so I think I'm just going to enjoy my dinner tonight. Its not every day your supercool grandad turns 86 - so I'm going to have fun. I don't expect it to be too bad. Aside from red meat, the rest of the dinner should be pretty normal and strawberry shortcake is realitively healthy - give or take the homemade whipcream - but hey... it does have real fruit on it :D.
My brother and I were discussing weight loss - and I was reminiscing about my tree planting days when I managed to lose 30 lbs in 5 weeks while eating intensely... (and I wasn't overweight to begin with so my grandmother told me I looked like a refuge and told me she'd kill me herself if I even considered doing it again.) There is nothing like 12 hours of slogging trees over uneven ground while having your blood sucked by blackflies to take the pounds off. But there has to be healthier and more pleasant... Actually... I was in pretty rough shape by the time I got home. I was covered in bites, limping from some combination of sore ankles, feet and knees. I had terrible open blisters on my heels and calves and it was a month before I stopped limping - so honestly.. not recomended at all and the worst part is that I made $300 after equipment and transport and camp costs... but there is some 25,000 trees somewhere in the wild swamps of northern Ontario that I put there. :D
Anywho - I'm rambling instead of working...
Cheers,
Jennith
