Made a great dinner last night from a recipe from Whole Foods; Mini Meatloaf with Maple glazed green beans. Yummy! Ground turkey breast, finely grated sweet potato, finely chopped onion, BBQ sauce, salt & pepper mixed together in small loaves, brushed with more BBQ & start baking. Toss a pound of fresh trimmed green beans in a little EVOO, maple syrup, salt & pepper, then roast on the same sheet with loaves; a definite keeper. I put it in My Cookbook; only 251 calories a serving, lots of protein, and so good! I'm making meatloaf sandwiches to take to the soccer match tonight at University of Portland.
Looking forward to Zumba this morning, substitute teacher and all. Really keeps me on my toes! Starting a fresh loaf of bread in bread machine before class so we can have fresh for dinner sandwiches; we've really gone through the first loaf I made after we got home. Nothing like being away to make you appreciate the flavors of home!
My new size 12 jeans are pretty darn loose and I've never worn them. Washed one pair last night & had to dry them thoroughly. I hope the pair we bought at Costco are smaller. I may just go try on some size 10s, maybe even an 8. Just to check out possibilities. :o)

I'm a big fan of Whole Foods too. It's my go-to food store now. If you Google Macy's True Fit their jeans finder worked for me and narrowed down the best fit for me by brands. (After weeks of searching, I found the perfect pair on my second try.)

Thanks, jenkie5, I'll check out Macy's True Fit. My body keeps changing as I lose weight and exercise; Zumba in particular seems to be re-shaping my body. It would be really nice to find clothes that truly fit the new me, or each new me, lol.

It actually led me to a brand I had never heard of, would never have tried, a style I would not have considered, and they were less expensive than what I expected to pay. We'll
have to do a happy dance in our new jeans!

Wow Kat...you are vanishing! Two pairs of my current size jeans also are getting too loose - but the next size down is still slightly snug! So, maybe by next week I will be down the full size.
|
I'm sure you will, HCB. Then we all do a happy dance in our new jeans!
