Since the dietician changed my diet around, I've had more difficulty with staying on track. I need to make some lower calorie choices since she dropped my calories from 1800 to 1400 calories. It's probably a good time to get used to eating veggies and getting my water in so I am not feeling so hungry.

One of my co-workers got approved today for her weight loss surgery. She's very excited. I'm more hesitant about surgery than she is I think. The end result is exciting, but getting there is the scary part. She'll probably have surgery sometime in October. I'm kind of glad it's going to take me until next year before I need to make the final decision.

I've done all my preliminary work-up and the next step is to make the appointment with the surgeon. After the surgeon appointment I still have to complete my six month diet visits with my primary physician. My last appointment with my primary physician is on 1/31/13. After that it's a waiting game with the insurance company.

the advantage of veggies is that you can eat a lot of them without spending lots of calories. and they say that you should eat 5 portions of fruits and veggies per day (best 2 times fruit at 120gr each and 3 times veggies at 120gr each). wanna try? :)
