My husband & I are going to start the low carb diet next week for two months and start working out 4 days a week instead of three. Anyone have ideas for low carb foods that taste good, and I will be filled up especially for lunches to bring to work. That is where I have a hard time. I also have dental work so chewing a lot of salads every day is bad for my teeth. Maybe a veggie soup.. Help me out. I'm new at this lol.

Some good low carb veggies that can be cooked so they are easier to chew include spinach, spaghetti squash (great substitute for pasta), green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini. Cucumber is pretty soft too. Make sure you always have cooked protein on hand ...the protein really makes you feel sated and stops cravings. I just tried Dreamfield's pasta yesterday and it is fantastic. It boasts that it only has 5 digestible carbs per serving. It certainly was filling too.
