Welcome! I saw from your bio that you used to run in highschool and would like to be able to do so again. I was never a runner at any time in my life but am now able to run for 30 minutes, albeit a little on the slow side still, thanks to recently completing the Couch to 5k program (go to www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml for more info). No matter what your fitness level is to start, it eases you into running and over 9 weeks gradually increases your endurance so by the end you are able to run 30 minutes or 5k. I highly recommend it.
