I slept until 3pm, and then didn't do much for several hours. I did finally eat at dinner time. Then went overboard with dinner (though still 250 cals below the the lower end of my daily allowance, it was a lot for a single meal).

it was a lot for a single meal but look at the bigger picture - you've burnt 3000! more calories than went in over the course of a day (not sure if that's sustainable) try having your smaller meals more frequently and the healthy snacks then hopefully your bingey bank holiday meals won't happen too often

Well it wouldn't be if the exercise count was anywhere near accurate... I believe it to be about 50% higher than my actual calorie usage. Remember that I am _extremely_ obese, according to their calculations I burn 3000+ calories just existing. According to my observed calculations it's about half that.

Also I am aware my current loss is unsustainable. I am making a big push to start off my new diet plan. I am 70 days (today) into my big push. I will relay myself a little on September the 27th (day 100) and increase my daily allowance to 1200-1500 per day. That will continue till Xmas and I will have another big push in the new year (though probably not 100 days this time).

sounds like yoi have it all planned out and doing really well so far 40 odd lbs is pretty impressive whatever way you look at it - well done!
