Yesterday was my 1st day on the Fas Smash Diet and it was hard....I made it through the day and did really well, but it was really hard. I went grocery shopping last night and everything but what I needed to purchase was what I wanted, I didn't cave, but really wanted too and this was just my first day! Eeks, is it really this hard? I am defiantly going to stick with it, I feel it will be worth it in the end. I made dinner last night with brown rice, mushrooms and green peppers and it wasn't so bad, but pretty bland, is there anything I can use that will make it taste better????

spices, use all the spices you want. i really enjoy a lot of garlic and onions as well. the easiest thing for me to do is to take a recipe that i already like that has a lot of veggies in it and adapt it to the diet. something that is good that you will enjoy eating.
be creative with your food, think of things to eat besides just plain veggies and fruit with rice or oatmeal. if you're not a great cook, try looking up vegan or vegetarian meals for phase I. stick with it, you're worth it.

I thought I would never be able to do something like this, especially the no meat thing. But I did it, and you can too!! It does get easier, and the detox phase will be gone before you know it! In a couple of days, your cravings for meat and bread will subside. Just hang in there!

Thanks for the confidance....it is greatly appreciated! I will just have to get used to it, I am not a big cooked veggie eater, I like them more raw, but that gets old, so I guess I will have to change my ways, thanks again for the notes!

It will get easier and the end result will be worth it! Try beans with rice, if you like beans. it adds flavor to the rice, it's very filling, and a great source of protein.
