Ok, so after the past couple of weeks being pretty disappointing I am going to try something different. I am going to try doing a low carb/low cal diet. I think my downfall has been that even though I may have stayed under my daily calorie limit I have been eating the wrong things. I think by eliminating carbs it will force me to eat better. I've already been doing it for 2 days and I'm happy with how I've done. How many people can say they have gone to Olive Garden and not eaten the breadsticks or pasta?? I did however eat cheesecake. Yes I know, I blew my entire carb count in one bite, but I still didn't get anywhere near what I would have been on a regular day. It is only day 2 and I am actually looking forward to tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

Be careful with completely eliminating carbs from your diet. People yo-yo their weight because of diets like Atkins.
Your body needs carbs for energy, of course healthy carbs include fruits, brown rice, multi grains etc...
I recommend low carb but not eliminating all together, once you start eating carbs again after eliminating them you will put the weight back on right away! Thing about a sustainable diet that you can continue with long term.

good for you honey - I know that you'll do great on this, as you go you can start adding carbs back in, like KimBatt says, the fruits, grains, etc - I don't plan on staying Atkins forever, and I'm looking forward to adding things back into my diet, so that when I get somewhere in the neighborhood I want to be in (you notice I said WHEN, not IF?)that I'll just have to watch what I eat, but be able to eat what I want...I've got faith in you!
