It's been a rough week and a half. I've been too afraid to weigh in. I did really bad with watching what I eat. There was also an unrealistic level of temptation: there was the company pot luck, then there was a co-worker's summer party, then the cupcakes and lunch for my birthday, another lunch for my birthday, and a dinner for my birthday with cake. Now that the celebration is over and I'm starting to exercise more than once a week, I might have some degree of success. Maybe I'll be brave enough for the scale next week. I can only hope. And maybe a light dinner tonight.

Ah, the company lunches! How I both love and dread them. I hope that you had a happy birthday, and enjoyed your cupcake/cake! Being healthy is wonderful, but so is enjoying life a little. The fact that you are more aware of what you are eating is already a success. Hang in there! You may have had a small setback, but I'm sure you'll be right back on track in no time. =)
