I just returned from 5 days in New Orleans for Jazz Fest 2010. It was an amazingly wonderful time, but very very hard to keep any control on my food choices since music, rich food and drink were flowing. I ate my share of crab, fried oysters and shrimp, drank lots of wine and walked all over the place but even that couldn't keep off the pounds. I think much of it is from the tremendous amount of salt used in the cooking...oh and the fat from deep frying...yes and it's probably transfat...OY!
