Just got back a bit ago from walking 1.2 miles. This is the first time that I walked that far in one day at one time. I'm tired but I feel great about it. I also got a pedometer that is going on my hip tomorrow. I feel pretty good about my activity/exercise level today even with out having to go to work. I got to sleep in and got other work done. I have a few more hours of activity around the house. On the food front I have been sticking to my plan of making better and healthier choices. I'm proud that I have been logging ALL of my food and not cheating at all. My daughter wanted me to take her to get ice cream after I got my hair cut today at the Dairy Queen down the street from my barber. I told her not to tempt me. Then I said that I would get her a cone at McDonald's. By the time we got there she forgot about the ice cream. Good thing that she didn't remember or I might have had to eat half the cone.
