Run 22:45 Walk 2:45 Run 13:30

5k time: 39 min. My top speed: 5.1 mph

That definitely wore me out, but I'd already designated tomorrow as a rest day, because I'm gonna ride a horse today and everyone says it may be hard to walk tomorrow. So I have 48 hours before my next run, which may be less ambitious. It took me a long time cooling down before my heart rate dropped below 150. That's a decent reminder of how out of shape I've gotten. Race #1 in 8 days!!! So excited! I bought my shirt yesterday! Also, pandora is conspiring to ruin my run! I had 3 ads in the last 15 min. and nothing but slow songs in between.

Also, I'm gonna take that 160.2 lbs at face value and not blame it on water weight. I have been bustin' my tush for a while now, and I feel like I earned the weight loss, even with my overeating. I hope that doesn't make me disappointed later.

I need to get to the gym and lift again. I only lift upper body, because doing any kind of legs would mean I'd have to go easy on my biking/running. I'm gonna rock a backless dress at a christmas party this year! :-D

Finally: I felt like I'd eaten way more than I did yesterday. I don't know if that's a good thing or more indication that I have a warped sense of food and calories. Ah data, will you ever cease to puzzle me?

Dear future self: I write a lot when I'm on my runner's high. Maybe you should run then start to write papers?
