Feeling strong today. Actually woke up feeling good when I jumped on the scale (against my better judgment - I need to stick to once a week weigh-ins) and was at 156.6. It's so silly to let a number determine my mood, though, which is why I need to only weigh myself once a week. I'm not going to record this number yet.

Just finished my workout - checking bp and heart rate during the workout. Pretty interesting. The highest my heart rate was recorded was 80 bpm. Now mind you, I'm huffing and puffing and sweating like a crazy person at this point. Something's up, that's for sure. Supposedly the normal resting heart rate is 60 - 100 bpm. And I should be able to work out and get my heart rate up to 145 or 150. Oh well. I did the 20 min. Boot Camp, then the 20 min. Cardio Max, then the Power Sculpt 1 and 3 (20 & 10 min. each), plus the 5 min. warm up and 5 min. cool down.

Get outta here - that heart rate is awesome! That means your heart is in fantastic shape D! Way to go! I still need to get off my butt and do my workouts on the Wii tonight. I always start with the "sucky" lunges and squats and then finish with that step aerobics. I can't believe I actually can say I am LOOKING FORWARD to the step aerobics!! It's so weird. I still say in my mind I hate working out, but ya know, I don't really. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And regarding my kitty (in my journal post) the good news is that she has stopped licking and scratching at herself, but she's been wiped out today. I hate the steroids too, but they are giving her relief. I just hope that it can stop the allergies for good because too many steroid shots could give her diabetes. But, as far as googling it - I did and omg there are SO many things saying what it could be. The vet told me it's so common she treats cats with hair loss and itching like at least twice a day, every day... they're like people so, she could be allergic from anything from mold or pollen to flea bites, to dust... bleh. I could do an allergy test on her, but they have to knock her out and I'm uncomfortable with doing that unnecessarily. And I agree about the fleas, that's how I feel - like I'd see SOMETHING at some time, and I'm very paranoid about fleas because I know how quickly they can get infested, so anything I feel on the cats gets looked at, any little bump or scratch or anything, so I'm pretty confident it's not fleas. Anyway--------------------------------------------------------------- Back to awesomeness --- You're down again!! That's awesome. I told you it would be the start of losing weight! Way to go! I wish I could post a loss but I'm wavering up a pound! Bah, weight, lol. :D

I feel so unworthy : ) I'm SO hungover right now I can't believe it. I will never drink tequila again. At least not for months...-------------- I wouldn't bother getting the allergy tests, either. It wouldn't really change anything for the kitty. Hopefully she'll be fine without longterm steroid use. That stuff has so many side effects, but it really is the best thing for inflammation and other things, too. --------------The heart rate...probably not so good. I'm not that fit. Seriously. I think my heart rate may have been artificially "normal" before due to smoking, but now that I'm not smoking, it's low. For it to be a good thing, I'd have to be really fit and generally over a long time of working out, not four months and a lifetime of being a slug : ). Unfortunately. We'll see. I'm actually hoping for a thyroid problem - easiest fix. Turns out that's yet another symptom of hypothyroidism. And the bad side to that is you eventually get high blood pressure and high cholesterol if it's untreated. I shouldn't get all crazy about anything until I get my test results. Then I panic : )-----------------------Back to you - congratulations on losing MORE weight!!!! That's so awesome. I'm like you - I still say I hate working out, but I'm really not so much anymore. But today...uh-uh. I'd probably puke before I got my heart rate higher than 60! I'm laying down again. Did I tell you I'm never drinking tequila again? : )
