For the very first time all summer, we are experiencing a full day of rain! I'm skipping and dancing for joy! Our poor grass and landscaping turned brown over a month ago, and this drought has been wicked.

I am a strong woman, who finally has a handle on this weight loss stuff. :) I'm proud of my success so far, and I just keep dropping the weight. This upcoming weekend is full of parties, but I know I'll keep control. Having a plan before I leave the house: I will eat before I leave, and then if I eat at any of the functions, I will stick to meats, veggies, and fruits. Easy as pie (errr...easy as NO pie). LMAO

We could use the rain too. We've had a small amount in the past couple of weeks, but nothing that would really help. Good luck with the parties. It sounds like you're in the right mindset to keep going and have great success!
