When I test my blood sugar before bed, if I'm below 82 I drink a 2 to 4 ounces of milk, if not I will go too low a few hours later and wake up with sweating/shakes. Anything over 5 carbs will make me high the next morning. Last night before bed, I was at 61, Oh-oh, so I had 4 oz milk and one Tbsp peanut butter. BG was 99 this morning. You have to test your blood often to see what you levels are and what your body needs. Then again, the T2D body does not always play by the rules.
