Does anyone out there have any suggestions for overcoming stress eating. I can't seem to find anything else to comfort me. It's sad when eating is the most enjoyable thing in your day. Talking to my mom makes me so upset, I always end up bingeing after one of her lectures. She is the most negative person in my life and always sees the worst in everything including me and my life. If I could help her overcome her negativity and need to control everything and offer her opinion on everything, I could make some progess in my binge eating. Does anyone else have this problem?

Alianna,
I defintely think you need to attack the root of the issue. Write down what makes you upset and then attack each issue. When people make me upset just first calm down and think about what their intentions are. You have to be strong and just take a minute to think. Envision yourself at your goal weight. Every step you make is one step closer to your goal.
