Well, still seem to be hanging on to the 2 of 4 pounds I gained over the weekend. However, I will not let myself get discouraged. At least I'm on a downward trend, as slow as it might be!!
I'm feeling a little disappointed in signing up with "The Best Life" website. I tried to log my daily food intake in and found out that their list of foods is VERY limited. Almost as though you are expected to only eat what's on the "list". However, I am the kind of person that needs to be held accountable in some way, to some one. Any suggestions? I thought about going back to "The daily plate". I'd like to be able to log in exercise and water each day as well.

If switching it up to thedailyplate sounds good to you, then it's worth a try, right?? :) Gotta keep it interesting!! That's right, do NOT get discouraged... YOU can DO IT!! You have to keep your mind in the game and staying focused as to why you are doing this for your health, so you can live a long healthy life with your beautiful little girl... it's the best reason in the world. YOU DESERVE IT!! *hugs* "bf" girl!! =D lol

Then you should do it Miteslur...! Have you tried the food diary/exercise diary here on FS? I don't let a day go by unless I am out of town that I don't do my entries...When I first started doing so the first of Jan....after a week, I was able to look at it and see where I could easily make some different choices to keep the fat grams down to an acceptable level....It's working for me.... and if the Daily Plate works for you - then I highly recommend trying it for a couple of weeks....and put the water to you.... ALOT of it and those 2 pounds will disappear before you know it! Huggies

I haven't tried the food log on this website. I should take a look. Do you find it easy to use and does it have a good list of various foods? Can others see your food log, too? That would be nice!

I also log my food/exercise in every day on this site's diet calendar. I sometimes have to add a certain food because I can't find what I've eaten. I tend to eat a lot of the same things so it is pretty easy once you have used it a little while. It keeps your favorites in a list. I am a bit obsessive about logging everything. I want to eat enough but not too much. I try to stay around the 1100-1200 calorie range and that helps me to do it. Others can see your diet calendar unless you block your information from others. I often play around on the diet calendar before eating to see what my best choices will be. It really helps me balance out my day if I have time to plan. I try to use it before we go out to eat too. Helps me make the better choices.

Yes, it IS easy to use....I was a bit intimidated by it at first so didn't bother with it for the first couple of months here....Then, I seemed to not doing as good...so, I learned how to use it so I could REALLY monitor what I was eating....it IS very easy....I can help you with it if you have questions...LOTS of foods to choose from and if not - you can enter your own custom entires....And yes, others can also see your food diary if they look....It also helps if you seem to be stalled - we can look at your diary and make suggestions as to what you could do....It REALLY does HELP ALOT! I log my food here too. I add "custom foods" all the time for things I eat regularly. I also add manufactured foods to the list that belongs to this site that goes into the data base for everyone to see (you can only do that with brand name/manufactured foods) Just keep focused on healthy eating and getting some exercize in, those pounds will come off and chart will go down. You can do it!
