Ugh...still bloated and feeling gross from the weekend. Gotta go work out - didn't work out Sun or Mon. and that doesn't help, either. I'm not getting on the scale until Thurs. and hopefully by then, I'll be back to where I was. Somehow I'm doubting it right now. I hope this teaches me. Eating healthy food and working out makes me feel good, eating and drinking and not working out and I feel like this...you'd think that would be enough to make me learn!

Okay...much later. I did work out - felt sluggish and slow, but I worked out. I did notice my calorie burning per minute seemed lower than usual, too. Maybe something to the sluggish feeling? I did 20 min. of Cardio Max (level 1), and Power Sculpt 1 & 3, and I did level 1 of the Bootcamp, too. Should be about 70 min. plus the 5 warm up and 5 min. cool down.

BUT....I'm so hungry today. Well, I feel hungry, and I'm eating, but trying to eat good things. Until I ate the veggie straws, though. Could have been worse. Too many tortilla chips over the weekend - the idea of having to snack...

Hey D! Sorry you still feel bad about eating crappy over the weekend, but you'll get back on track!! I'll probably be feeling that way on Wednesday or Saturday - whatever day I choose to eat cake and ice cream, lol! That won't be a pretty day on FS if I choose to log my food, lol!! ---------------------------------- I know how you feel about working out too, like I said I haven't done much other than play on the Wii Fit (which honestly isn't THAT much of a workout, not compared to the Wii Active) for the last few days, so tonight I'm almost dreading doing the Wii Active because it's going to be INTENSE!! I feel ya though - you'd think that feeling crappy, or having a hard time working out or getting motivated would be enough to teach you (and me) to just eat healthy and work out regularly, but man it's such a slippery slope when you stop! (You being the royal you, lol not YOU!) I'm in the same boat - so let's both get back on track together!

When I don't walk for even one day I just don't walk to walk at all the next day and I have to force myself to do it - it is just so easy to get out of the habit of exercising!

Isn't it the truth? So difficult to establish a GOOD habit, so easy to get out of it! But I'm back in the saddle (I wish!) L - good to know the Wii Active is the better work out between the two. I've got to see about using my son's Wii...nah...too much crap in his room! Still good to know. : )

I always tell my self that I must have had a great night, if I feel this bad! I know what you mean though: it does take a couple of days to recover after a weekend of indulgence. And isn't it totally unfair that those pounds you fight so much, for so long to take off, miraculously reappear from just a couple of days of not being careful? Advice I read, was to try drinking lots of water. Not only does it give the tummy a false sense of being full, this blogger http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/blogs/losing-it/3553956/What-are-you-drinking suggests that if you're not drinking enough water (and by implication, are dehydrated) your body retains the fluid it has; "... We can be carrying around three kilograms of excess fluid that we'll flush once we start to drink enough..."

Sorry: FS won't let me include the complete web address to the article; I'll put it into my journal.
