3.1 miles walked, 1.6 with doggies....UGH another 10.

Came home and set up the grill because the weather has been so rainy and I was afraid it would be pouring by the time I got home from the thrift store this afternoon.

Strange food timing today....found DH's Jif PB - oh no! Anyway, I logged it and made adjustments for it. I had a strawberry smoothie before going out for the walk but then didn't have my usual "breakfast" upon getting back....had freshly grilled steak and broccoli instead. Love the food, but not exactly typical fare for me in the middle of the day. Then off to the thrift store - not very hungry tonight (that PB!).

Intra-day weight is surprisingly low, esp. considering the PB and the fact that I had the bulk of my calories so much earlier than usual. We'll see how this goes. The one thing I DO know is that any "good" that comes of this is NOT because of the PB!!!! In other words, repeating today's amount of PB is NOT a recipe for success! LOL!

Sandy - Sorry I missed you last night - Grandson is staying with us so my schedule is off. BTW - grilled steak and broccoli sounds like a great breakfast! Best of luck with your next weigh in - you might just surprise yourself!

Oh love that PB..its something that used to call my name on a daily basis..but I finally learned the moderation thing with it..now to learn that for other things..Its easier not to eat as much with DH away..Hmmmmm yes he is a food pusher..must have gotten that from his Mom..if you didn't eat what she fixed YOU DIDN'T LIKE HER FOOD...My DH thinks I should eat as much as he does...well I just can't..for one thing I can't hold as much as he can..and another I can't hold as much as I used to...What ever your doing keep it up..I want to be like you when I grow up...:O)

Love the PB also, now I do in moderation just a teaspoon taste really good.

Real/Natural PB is not something I am good at portion control with, I have better luck with the PB2 stuff. I can't even begin to imagine what would happen if I got ahold of a jar of Jiff! Maybe your body likes the surprise of the PB & the steak?

What a coincidence. I had that uncomfortable sensation defined by going to bed "hungry." One little spoonful of my Smart Choice peanut butter did the trick!

You made a great point over on my July 18 journal entry about the way that healthy diet leads to exercise & the way that exercise does not always lead to eating healthy. Thanks so much! I appreciate your input!
