One weigh-in means nothing. One weigh-in means nothing. One weigh-in means nothing. One--OMG!!! I actually weigh 130 lbs. today!!!
Congratulations to me, and humblest thanks to all my official buddies, and unofficial well-wishers here--to everyone who has answered my questions and offered their suggestions, even the unsolicited ones, and even the advice I decided not to follow. Your good wishes have meant a lot, and I only hope that I, too, have spread enough sunshine. If only everyone could receive as much help and support as I have, the world would be populated by healthier people! Keep fighting the good fight, and good journeying to you all to your goals and beyond.
Although that sounds like I am signing off for good, I am not. First of all, a single weigh-in really *is* meaningless. Secondly, 130 lbs. was the lowest weight I could imagine achieving when I was at my heaviest. But at this weight, I find I can imagine still losing a bit more. Third, even once one arrives at the number of one's dreams, there remains the little matter of maintaining that number (plus or minus a couple of pounds, of course). So although I may sometimes not participate as religiously here, it does give me the tools I need to continue to lose, or just to maintain what I have already achieved, so I can't afford to leave you definitively. Excelsior!
