Have to continue with regular weigh ins for sure. Stopping those are the first sign of trouble for me

Health is not a destination rather a journey. Think of weigh-ins like brushing your teeth and don‘t be obssessed with individual data points. 3rd time‘s the charm liv 👍

You can do it! Maintenance is a mind shift. You don't get the little reward of seeing the scale drop, although the habits need to continue

Did you diet this time or did you carve out a sustainable way of eating? If you did the latter, then you probably have caloric room for a once-a-week dessert or off-plan entree. If this weight came off quick (1-2 months), I personally would hold off on adding calories until it's established that this wasn't mostly water weight lost.

"a sustainable way of eating" is not for me. I don't have that kind of intuitiveness...try as i may. It will always be a diet. I am not adding much right now But December is coming and there will be trips and family stuff. I think it will be OK though.

I’m with you Liv! I keep thinking I’m fine and then just eating similarly to everyone else in my life I will put on five pounds quickly. I think I pretty much always need to have a dieting mentality

liv001 -- a sustainable way of eating may still include tracking, if that's what you mean by being on a diet. It might be for me -- I haven't determined that yet. It might include foregoing trigger foods. I keep pretzels out of my house for a reason! My definition of "sustainable " is simply something you can keep doing, regardless of whether you define it as a diet or not

Congratulations! You finally have achieved your goal! So happy for you. For me, when I met my 1st goal, I doubted my eyes and a scale so, checked several times and finally I believed that I made it. Speaking of weight goal, there are three and I met my 2nd goal as well. Now I am in a maintenance phase and, clearly aware of the fact. If I don't follow a healthy life style, my body will go back to a previous condition which I don't want. Life is good and I want to live long. 😄
