It depends if you are more likely to get up and go to the gym or get to work at home. Some people thrive on being around other people working out- it makes them push harder. Others don't like people seeing them struggle, and would rather sweat at home.

Well that didn't take long! Nicely done. I would suggest that you first research what type of lifting you want to do, which will inform your equipment/facility needs. Please see - https://leangains.com/train-like-a-man-look-like-a-goddess.

Highly recommend a home set up if you can. Have tried it both ways several times, home is definitely better.

@Abstract: I work from home currently, though that will change (modified schedule) by August when everyone's vaccinated in our office. I'm not ashamed to be seen sweating. @Diana and Hebrews: Thank you! Hebrews, I'm surprised you didn't weigh in on the home vs. gym Q. @Jimmie: thanks for the link -- I'll be checking it out tonight. @SMc: why is a home gym better?

@Jimmie: When I started the fruit diet, I had kind of stalled on the weight loss. It feels like my body is lurching when it drops pounds, rather than smoothly releasing them. So it's been plateau/half-pound down, then BOOM big loss. Don't care. Just glad to kick start things again. And I 🧡💛💚 all this fresh fruit. Bananas for breakfast, mangoes for lunch. Don't crave desserts, processed snacks and crappy carbs because I'm indulging in all this low-calorie sweetness in the (bottomless) watermelon 🍉 and cherries 🍒 every day.

I thrive working out with people. Working out at home was hard till I found my Zoomsters! I extremely happy being back at the gym and doubly happy to have merged my Zoomsters with my gym peeps. 💜

I'm 5'5" as well and can't imagine coming close to my pre-baby weight (120) because back then I was so skeletal. I don't know you or your situation but I hope you're being safe and healthy. Slow organ failure isn't worth it! xo

@Shoilz: Please consult with your doctor for your ideal body weight. Some women can be up to 10 lbs. heavier if their build is big-boned or very curvy (just look at Serena Williams). I have spent most of my adult life around 120 lbs., and have been very fit and active doing so.

@Letty: What -- the hubby and daughter didn't join you for Zumba during quarantine? What's wrong here? 🤣😋
